I am trying to find dave's schemo, linked on the first page of this thread.

Dudes and dudettes....GroupDIY is the most confusing file site I've ever encountered. Chalk me up as another mystified diy'er trying to find something on that site. It is well-intentioned, but in need of updating.
Sorry if this strayed off topic. I am gearing up to build this mixer.

FWIW, I recently signed up for this, looks like a good possible alternative. (files can be made private/invite only, too.)

SO. Can anyone tell me how to find dave's Op Amp Mixer schemo's ??

Please?

i can't seem to track down these schems on group diy, any chance someone could email them to me?

send me a pm. thanks!

after reading through the whole thread and spending some time staring at the schem...it seems pretty perfect for what i would like for mixing from my daw. 16 line channels (no eqs) some auxes, a stereo bus and its a simple design!

im curious about adding more auxes (6 or even 8 if possible). I know it was mentioned early in the thread that this is dependent on what the buffer opamp can drive.

will I have a problem driving 4 auxes post? should i buffer them with another ic first?

You'll be pushing it for a tl07x (4 10K pots in parallel make 2k5, getting into the territory where the tl0's feel over burdened), but the 5534 will be fine.

if im following the math correctly thats 10k/4 = 2k5 and there for 8 auxes would be 10k/8 = 1k25

it was also mentioned earlier that a 990 is rated down to 75ohms. my questions is, can this 8 bus setup work if designed with a 990?

This was never meant to be a "project", just an idea that I never had time to go back and fine-tune.

I would have to dig out the schematic and look just to remember what the hell I drew

yeah i can totally understand. i read through the whole thread and realized it wasnt totally fleshed out. but it's a great idea!! seemed simple enough even for me.
