Hey, could you please put here the final schema. I'd like to build only the 48V side.

The configuration that has been finally adopted is not the most efficient for a single 48V rail. If you have the choice of xfmr, you'd better use a 48Vac xfmr, bridge rectifier and single smoothing cap. But if you already have a 24V xfmr, you'd have to use the standard doubler configuration (two diodes, two caps).
