I am surprised a Chinese manufacturer hasn't pinched all the dwg files and flooded the market with these knobs....

I don't think Chinese manufacturers know this forum exists.
Nor do I think they would understand why one knob would be more desirable over another to pro audio DIYers.

I believe this happens once every month or two. Someone asks for an update or comments on the thread and then all of a sudden there's a phantom groupbuy for 200 knobs. Nobody, of course, who wants to deal with the logistics of shipping boxes and boxes of know but always plenty of interest in buying.
