Look at the ai sub board I think all you need to change to adjust the ai is increasing one cap value(this messes with EQ) and maybe lower the capsule voltage.
Lets see if anyone can figure out what I am posting about.
I traced the smaller ai board from pictures on the internet and pictures sent to me.
IMO the ai circuit with the sub board is "better" than the older u87s and can be adjusted.
I think people dismiss things too quickly if they don't understand the circuit.
