How can you be so positive?

Chunger already deals with these people. I don't think they would sell to a non business partner
We can't be sure at all but someone said me that is made by Shuai Yin, someone said you that is made by Alctron, if all the two says "No", someone is lying.

to clarify what i think josh is saying, shuaiyin does trade and translation. they don't make anything. they subcontract for all the stuff they sell. they're meant to be a one-stop-shop for mic companies to outsource multiple things through one company. it used to be easier than getting a translator to talk to the actual factories, but in this day and age way more of the factories know english, so companies like that are getting less relevant.

Ok I can see that it might be impossible to get Chunger to help. He hasn't posted anything here in years. He just maintains his store here and hasn't even commented on anything except kits he sells in more than a couple of years.

Turned from a solid piece? Isn't that ridiculously labor intensive and wasteful?

Starting with a brass pipe (thicker walled, if the body tube needs to be tapered) would make a lot more sense to me.

you are correct! sorry for not being clearer. pipe or bar, depending on the design and part. for the main body, often pipe. generally at scale they also have the shavings melted back down into more bar and pipe

I can but when it comes to ordering at scale, after the cost of the inventory, tariffs and freight, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense unfortunately. Maybe if they end up rolling back tariffs in the near future it'll be more feasible.

In europe companies don't pay import duties or tax. It is true freight is costly these days.
Here I am sure people would be willing to pay 85-150 USD per body since that's still cheaper than Chunger charges for some of his.

People here have already said that they would be willing to go to all that trouble if they could only get the name of the manufacturer. Since this isn't something you want to do why don't you just give them this info and let them go to the bother?
