You can't really tell from the pics, but I used the middle divider panel as a semi-AC-shield. There are holes in the panel to allow the heater wires to poke out and go directly to the heater pins then back out behind the panel. My first LA2 had a little hum at high gain, so I wanted this one to be bullet proof, and it's dead quiet noise-wise.
The two knobs next to the meter are a multi-turn zero adjust, and a rotary switch to select between GR, Output, and Meter out. The other three big knobs are gain, reduction, and limiter response. Stereo adjust has been omited.
Yea, neat and tidy inside...there's something about a nice layout- I gaze for hours at old gear that has that certain "something" to its construction...
.....but it takes time, effort and planning to pull it off.
