Some S**t happened that's obvious, but  :-X  Yes, PCB looks great and I understand this like example. Am I right? Kubi do we have to do something similar or you will end this? Or somebody else?  :-\

What would be a good PSU for this?
Average current consumption for mono module is 66ma, so typical 3 point chip based PSU will work. Same like neve pre PSU, but it will be great to go with some vintage discrete PSU  ;)

Nice work Kubi , i'd buy a pair to support the effort
and i can't even imagine getting to it soon .
the puppet master may have his own agenda , but
don't let that stop you from your good deeds ,
Can i help  ?

Kubi, don't you think that some of the capacitors values are bit overkilled? For example C3 can be 47uf ... Did you calculated the values or you just dropped "bigger-better"  ;)I see that most critical value for low end response / phase is output cap C10. For 150 ohm tx primary it should be 1000Uf for flat. Correct me if I'm wrong  ;D

If you don't wanna cycle yourself, some nice kids might help you

Cool Kubi. Can you also explain how did you implemented the input resistance switch. I see that you are explaining something about R1, and that seems reasonable to me but I can't understand German  :-[ Also, did you tried to implement volume control in front of output stage? Overdriving first stage can sound interesting....  ::)

Volker, should we wait for your PCB's  :) ???

I have been in contact with kubi about this.
kubi is fine with me doing a GroupDIY51X compatible card  :)
this is great since it will be the first project using the advanced features of the GroupDIY 51X Alliance ;D
but first I will do a prototype of Kubis home-edge version, since he offered me to send me one PCB  8)
if kubi wants it I can do a PCB run of his standard version too ...

(but don't assume to have anything in your hand next week, I'm not that fast)

who knows if this would have been ever happened than ...
and the original one is not 51X compatible ...
and I will find more excuses to feel better  ;D ;D ;D

Any updates on how this project is coming along?
I rather excited about it.
well, this is a rendering of the GroupDIY 51X version:

documentation is nearly done, kubi will etch some prototype PCBs for the stand alone version, we will build and test it.
should be all done before christmas ;D

Looks super! hey Volker this wont fit a regular 500 rack isnt it?
IF yes how are you feeding it for 24v??

Thanks.
