ok this should be a quick one.

ive got two boms here for the 9k

1 is keiths bom the other not sure but it has parts list for mouser.

its just there is a discrepency in the rating of the 1000uf power supply caps
one says 63v keiths says 35v.

which one is correct or does it even matter.

sorry proppa noob here.

brace your selves for even more mind numbing questions to come.haha.

Ive found this thread

http://www.edaboard.com/thread190573.html

which sorta answers my question, i thought i would post it here first though to double check.

what ive got from this is that you can use a higher voltage capacitor

Re: how important is the voltage on the capacitor
For all practical purposes you can use a higher voltage part. Only real downside is that it will probably be physically larger. There are minor technical observations, but nothing of any real concern that might affect normal operation.

So......could i use a 63v cap on the power supply in C6,7,8,9,10,11, instead of 50v ( which my BOM dictates )

C1 and C2 are both 35v parts. C3, C4 and C5 are 100v parts - they form part of the voltage doubler and 48v supply circuit.

Higher rated parts will work just fine, but may be too large for the space on the PCB.
