Seems like a lot of people use these as donors for more ambitious projects. I'm simply looking for upgrades to the existing electronics. I know mic and mod offers a kit but I figure such a common pcb should have that info readily available. I'm looking to mod mine in stages.
I have a RCA NOS 5751 tube I'm planning on installing. Along with an electronics upgrade (if I can find it). And later on, add a Capsule from advanced audio or Mic and mod (after researching them first). If possible I want to voice it towards a U47 and maybe go on to use a sct800 and aim for a c12.
I would love it if this thread could be a compilation of what you can do to the stock circuit. There's already a lot of threads about adding new pcbs etc.
