The I and II look identical to me, apart from the added switchable pad & high-pass, so the PSUs should be interchangeable indeed.

Apart from redesigned enclosure, the board inside the mkII PSU is laid out differently from the mkI PSU (more rationally organised). Most of the components look the same, however there's a row of capacitors near the front output plate that do look a different value. I can't seem to find a schematic for the mkI PSU, but I imagine the cable output pins are a similar arrangement. I could test to see if output voltages are the same for both I suppose, but thought someone might be able to confirm? Thanks
