Sifam AL20 SQ meter

Hi,

I am looking for a VU meter for my 1176 DIY project. I thought that the Sifam AL20 and the Sifam AL20 SQ VU meters would be very nice, because of their vintage looks, but I can not seem to find good info about these meters. I have a few questions which I would appreciate very much, if some of you could answer them. Thanks in advance!

Which meter is the round one (the AL20 or the AL20 SQ) and which is the square one with the 4 screw holes in the front? I saw there is a black and brown version, are both meters available in these colors? And I read somewhere that the Sifam AL20 SQ comes standard with illumination, is this true, or do you need the order a special back light?

Why not simply ask Sifam? They must know for sure..

AL20 is the round one, AL20SQ is the square one.
You can find them at Canford. Open this PDF file and you will see that AL20SQ is complete with illumination.

Thank you for your replies! :thumb: I have contacted Sifam and I got the following info on the Sifam AL 20 and AL 20SQ meters:

The AL 20 is round, AL 20SQ is square with 4 mounting holes, the colour is black phenolic and there are three illumination options 6/12/or 24V
