Excellent work here as usual , I did notice you mention C cores being a good  option for an anode choke , I have 4  pairs of  Amcc 32 metglas cores on the way , cheap n cheerfull salvaged .  Bobbins, clamping and mounting of the cores I need to figure out first, then maybe try tens of thousands of turns with my handcranked winder .

Just saw this post and nearly wet myself..

CJ, did you ever get around to making any of these to sell ? I got a pair of V72's here with some missing iron and I'd love to get them going.
theres deffo a pair of input transformers missing, and pretty sure the chokes might be too.
