I think this idea has merit based purely on how good the 1073 as points sound. Might be best to make this a line level as box only?

I was thinking of drawing and proposing a joke block diagram that's just IN -> DSP -> OUT, and went to do a search for "audio DSP with built in"... and Bing recommends I finish that sentence "...with built in toilet".....(?????!!!)

I suppose that tells me what Microsoft thinks of this idea.
