It's a super unfortunate coincidence that deaths *with* COVID haven't gone to zero since vaccine deployment > 1year ago... correlation does not always suggest a causation but that's up to the individual to ignore "trend is your friend" at their own detriment.

Thanks morls - those articles contain excellent explanations of what we know about virology and the immune response, (by someone who actually knows what he's talking about,) and where things might be headed.

But I'm afraid they won't be very understandable or instructive for some posters here - as we all know, arguing with smart people is hard, but arguing with a fool is impossible.

Articles do not trump what is observed... that the vaccines do not prevent infection and are not terminating or do not prevent transmission.
It's up to the individual to weigh the cost/benefit of any "therapeutic" value upside the "shots" may offer....

An observation of my own throws new light on the real engine driving the covid pandemic - the greatest global surge in covid cases came the day after a massive astroid passed earth. My conclusion is that obviously there is some sort of mysterious radiation emanating from objects in space that cause a huge, rapid surge in viral transmission.

There is data from New York showing a fully vaccinated breakthrough rate in the aggregate (including Omicron) of approximately 8-11% (which will likely be described as "completely ineffectual"). Trudeau having a 1 in 10 chance of getting COVID is not the same as "impossible".

I'm curious: do you wear a seatbelt when you drive? It's more government mandated tyranny, right? I mean, it doesn't stop car accidents, and it doesn't prevent death in a crash, so applying the exact same logic, they are "worthless", right?

I mean, look at this chart, sheeple!

Seatbelts started appearing in cars in the late 50's, with the first mandates in 1961. Look at the increase in deaths in the 1960's: seatbelts cause car deaths! Seatbelts are just Big Nylon and Communist Buckles making everyones cars that much more expensive!
