I just saw online that Tim passed away on 17th December.   

He was a giant among engineers and designers of valve equipment  and will absolutely be missed.

Just look at the quality of the studio gear he made , its top notch .Valve based Pre's Comp's Eq's , that and his hifi gear will go on making sound for a long time to come .
