you guys are good. Talk about missing something.After a third glance. I saw it. Because things were so cramped inside it was hard for me to see what was connected and where. You can see that in the original photos. So I updated the schematic of the mic portion. The cathode goes out to pin2 on the 6 pin XLR

Looks like pin 2 to cathode resistor in the PS
pin 6 to pattern control
pin 5 heater +
pin 3 ground
pin 4 B+
The 1000meg looks like it is added for LD capsules there is an hint in the Royer SD mod writeup. The SD CF Royer writeup does not have this resistor
