Hi All, in the meantime i am producing shorter stand for the Gt2b Style mic ,  Fred Suggested this to use the D7 mount in the GT2B style mic the capsule will sit at the nominal height as originally in the Gt2B , using 2 bolts about 3-4mm thickness and 2 M2 screw a bit longer ,

The Shorter mount i am to produce, the capsule should sit in the GT2B headbasket as the per the original height of a short body U47 or U47 Fet,  meaning that the capsule top portion will sit right on the headbasket ring.

Here is a picture of my U47 I built with Dans D7 capsule and Cinemag hi nickel transformer! This mic is absolutely amazing, it has that air and rich vibe that the U47 are known for! I couldn't be happier!
