- seems that pref is for the flat 47 capsule for m49 mics. Any additional thoughts on this?

the link is in my profile. i would say the flat 47 is good for m49 mics. i wouldn't use it for a fet 47 though. it's not bright enough.

In general, "out of stock" is a fuzzy term. I will always be maintaining enough to send commercial samples and fulfill warranty claims (I posted this on the site, but it's worth mentioning that all the capsules have lifetime warranties limited to manufacturing defects) but I will be out of retail stock soon.

I have a shipping station set up at my desk, stock and supplies on one end, label printer on the desk, outbox on the other side w daily pickup, so it rarely takes me more than 30 minutes to ship a capsule. It helps that it's tons of identical packages. I already have the weights and stuff pre-configured for 1 and 2 capsule orders for the domestic and international boxes. That's only 4 variations, so I can batch box sizes and order quantities.

Pretty sure Arienne said earlier that she includes a mount with each capsule. I seem to remember pictures of them in the boxes too (forming a delightful for your unboxing videos).

Maybe read the last few pages of this thread and report back what you find?

Thank you. There is so mention of that in the website and I think I made it through the first 20 pages of this thread. I didn’t see any mention of it. I was trying to get all the docs together for a 49 build

I do include a saddle mount, but it doesn't include the mounting pole that it screws on to

Did you get the full mount or just the curved part?

The curved part, just like soliloqueen said.

What you chose to do for a post will depend on your application. If you're at a loss, maybe let us know what mic(s) you plan to put these capsules into and we can see if anyone has specific suggestions.
