Dan's front panels and cases.. new panels for Gustav's projects, 1U CLX-VU panel

Hi everyone!

I've got some rack cases and front panels available for sale, these should make a lot of projects a lot less painful as most of the metalwork's done for you. You can buy the cases or the front panels separately.

The cases have:

- Holes for an EMI filtered power connector on the rear panel
- Four holes for XLR connectors on the rear panel

The cases are approximately 44 cm wide and 28 cm deep, the internal height is about 39 mm. The cases have 1.5 mm thick lids so that contersunk screws can be used, keeping the outside of the enclosure clean. A 1U case + front panel weighs less than 2kg including packaging so it can be posted quite cheaply.

Looks great Dan!  What other cases/panels do you have planned?  Would it be possible to get a version of the GSSL with the super sidechain mod?

Dan made a couple of custom panels for some projects of mine...

They are excellent, and I highly recommend his work!
The silk screening is crisp and clear.
The metal work is perfect.
The paint is clean and even.

I just wanted to make sure you contacted the moderators before posting in the White Market.

i'm jsut curios the back panel is marked also?

phatmateo - I'll make a couple of Sidechained panels as well just in case anyone needs them, I might have one that I probably won't use in the near future, I'll check at home and PMail you!

Other panels.. anything and everything really I'll need to do a Poorman layout, something along the lines of a cool LA2A panel or case, I'd really like to try Igor's PGA2500 pres, etc..

great cases...

maybe you should think of selling back panel alone too...
metal work are so pain full...it could be a best seller

I have used Dan's panels on several project's & can recommend them as being great quality, & I think fairly priced.

Likewise Dan made a couple custom  [ with my name on them  ] panels
quite happy with the all around service

diyfanatic - that's an interesting idea actually, but I probably won't get round to it any time soon - it would mean quite a bit of research into the various cases that are on the market, etc.

Hi guys.. !

I've started on a couple of new panels: GSSL with sidechain, a couple of GSSL panels for with a Sifam PPM meter cutout (both regular and sidechain panels), a 4 channel mic pre panel... and 2U TG panels, finally

I've also got a couple of spare G9 panels for sale, I've added the photo to the first post. The colour of the panel's dark green, almost black.

If anyone knows they'll need any of the above, please let me know, I'm not making that many of them this time around.
