Hello..How hard would it be to add  two sets of outputs to a monitor controller..? ( DIY, not mine but one that I traded for)..It has one stereo pair of outs now, but I want another pair of stereo out for multible monitor speakers. The outputs are on XLRs but I'll be fine with TRS to save room. Anyone can do this that has the experience?  Give me a PM and we'll work out details.. Thanks..!

The best way to do this is with an ALT box- 4 inputs that switch between two sets of 4 outputs, main and alt. A single switch switching four DPDT relays is the easiest.

In general if it has a good low impedance balanced output you can just add another set of output jacks with separate build out resistors (50 to a couple hundred ohm resistors)  in series with + and - outputs.  Regarding type of jack TRS 1/4 may be easier, and XLR hole will require a greenlee punch.
