Well said.except western country that can't admit chines science is good and can solve "issue" before we even think of it...
Authoritarian governments have options that free western nations do not. It is hard to draw accurate lessons from china as they censor the news coming out of there. Reportedly some citizens make morse code out of emojis to sneak messages out, but since that has been reported in the western press I can't imagine the Chinese censors not already stopping that. Thank you news media for helping the Chinese government once again. :-[)living sounds said:The Chinese authorities sucesssfully stopped the spread by imposing the following measures:
1. Impose wide-ranging curfews and systematically test people in infected areas.
2. Those who tested positive are moved to isolation centers. No self-isolation.
3. People with severe conditions were moved to specially designated Corona virus hospitals or at least special, sealed of wards. No mixing of virus patients or staff caring for them with patients being treated for any other conditions.
It's draconian, but I fear it's very unrealistic to assume all people are willing and able to properly self-isolate.

You must mean Trump, right? Starting a pissing contest with China and half the country with his race baiting name for the virus. Maybe that it isn't such a good thing in a leader in a time of crisis? Not everyone accepts Trump's 'personality' like his hard core supporters. It's not incumbent on everyone else to placate things while Trump picks fights.JohnRoberts said:I am seeing more cooperation between government agencies and even the political parties than usual, but the regular suspects still use every opportunity to take cheap shots.

It is now coming out that Senior members of Congress were informed of how dire this pandemic would likely be back at the end of January
