DIY USB-C microphone based on TSB 2555 capsule

The omni is legendary for how quiet it is, but all these Primos - EM21, 23, 50 have a quite 'hard' sound to my ears.
 
I'm interested in doing this but interfacing to a 3.5 mm.

I was thinking:
Mic capsule->ina217->active bandpass-> 3.5mm

I would like to power the op amps with USB power on a single rail. I'm not sure how PC mic line in samples data. Is it dc coupled? As in I would need to lift the mic signal on about 1VDC?
 
ah ok High input to get the signal across. That explains the fet + 1G resistor in the alice circuit. I see ina217 has 60m ohm differential input impedance but I will look for a 1g input resistance Thank you!
