Okay... good news...

TI has a deal with webex in place, and I've got the go-ahead to run some basic conferences for groupdiy.

For those of you that haven't used webex before, it's an online meeting program that you run from your internet browser. You can watch Video, Hear sound, view presentations, "text chat" and even record the whole thing for archiving.

You don't need any software installed, and it works with Windows and Mac (as far as I know)

So, a (not the final) plan...

1 - small group of beta testers. Preferably a world wide cross section. Please PM me if your interested with your email address, location and speed of connection.

2. A volunteer to give the beta presentation. I'm more than happy to myself, but maybe one of our Guru's would like to step up to the plate for a 'dummy run'?

3. collect feedback, and if appropriate, plan a proper webcast.

Thanks again,

R

And be available on DVDs that can be played on my telly and not the PC (as the new SoS DVD does - arrrgghhh!!!)
I hate using my PC to watch DVDs and most webcasts are blocked by work ISPs
