I have trieds to build the U87, but just got loud hum. I am starting fresh with a new pcb from vintage mics. I wonder how people solder the smallest lanes and if there is a "high" risk for shorting the circuit, possible sending signal to ground? I have bought a thinner solder and thinner solder iron, hoping to progress better. Should some solder points be soldered from the upper side f x?

Just finished the C12 build and it works like a charm.

Some flux is usually pretty good at keeping solder where it should go
But make sure to clean the flux after soldering, especially at the capsule connection and around the jfet (or tube). In many circuits a little remaining flux is no problem, but at high impedance nodes it will reduce impedance, as well as attract dust and moisture which will further decrease impedance.
