If you double up you need to do it to both heater leads. Strictly speaking neither of them is a ground.Do you need to double up on the heater gnd wire as well?

I solder them directly onto a PCB As shown below:I'm doing another project with pcb having noval tube sockets, if i want to use taller 9 pin tubes there is not enough space left for mounting into 2U chasis, it wouldn't be safe. Can these pins replace tube socket directly, or do i need another pcb:

Datasheets for tube sockets are pretty confusing because some Chinese sockets require ~1,2mm holes, most other porcelain have ~2,1mm holes, Belton i like best have 1,6mm pins.
If necessary, could drilling additional 0,5mm be a problem?
