Rode I-XY for donor capsules

I saw one of these at a second hand place , going cheap ,
I was thinking I could amputate the Apple part of the interface entirely , give it a decent set of head amps , at 50 euros its a really nice X-Y capsule, it seems hard to beat for a project build X-Y Stereo SDC .
Its the typical Rode all metal build quality .

Cracks me up that Rode describes 90 degree XY cards as "immersive"; XY 90 is the least 'immersive' stereo array ever devised - has it's uses, but immersive it ain't!

Wonder if Rode makes their own capsules for this, or using OEM Primos or other.
