when they short, its stereo... when they are no-short dual mono
EDIT : hope you matched your diodes an both units...
I believe your b drawing is correct. To pull a quote from Reanimator's build docs: "can you see then "link" on control pcb ... you just put a switch to that, and connect to second unit...dacapitan said:kambo said:can you see then "link" on control pcb ... you just put a switch to that, and connect to second unit...

I am a bit confused with wiring up the Stereo/Dual Mono switch. I noticed there is a "Link" on the control PCB and a "LNK" on the mainboards too? - I am not sure if both of these are supposed to be connected to the switch?
The way I understand the quote above is depicted by "B" in my diagram - which is the correct way to wire this? A or B or Neither - Any help will be much appreciated!

I'm resurrecting this old thread with the intention of recreating Igor's 2254C and providing KiCAD files and Gerbers free of charge. I want a set of the PCBs and figured I could share the files. I don't want to sell anything, but if more people can build their own 2254C, I would like to help. I have a few questions for those that have built one.
I have a copy of the schematic, but it's not labeled so I'm unsure which version it is. How can I determine the latest version?
I would like to have someone (or a few) people look over my copy of the schematic and help me look for errors. Any takers?
Anything you would change about it? Layout? Part replacement choices?
