Never been a fan of hospital food... When I was very young I spent some time in a hospital getting a hernia sewn up. While there I declined to partake in the hospital fare, but my mother sneaked in homemade eggnogs for me. The nurses were surprised at how well I recovered without eating any hospital meals.

As a person born and raised on the border in texas, I am well aware how the situation was handled and how it’s all changed in my 40 plus years living in the planet. Why the media, the left politicians and supports of their ideology continue to act like there is no issue is beyond me. They can go to mcAllen Texas and do a photo op but won’t go address the issue. McAllen is not far up the road from us where we have a major border crossing but they get the press, we get the problems.
The last time I had some it was incredible. But my home life isn't overflowing with culinary delights so maybe I'm mistaken. But it was very good. Even my Dad was blown away.

I saw more liberal progressive media in Martha's Vineyard to cover 50 (Venezuelan) migrants that FL governor DeSantis flew up there, than I've seen over the last year + covering the millions of illegals who came across our southern border and got arrested (cough) processed.
There is a bunch of arm waving that somehow these 50 migrants were mistreated. The liberal Martha's Vineyard activated the MA national guard and transported them to a military base on Cape Cod, in less than two days.
A texas sheriff (?) filed charges to get his 15 minutes of fame, and CA governor Newsom has called for a DOJ investigation of DeSantis. Coincidentally Gov Newsome is trying to troll Gov DeSantis into debating him because Newsom is already actively campaigning for the white house in 2024 (Newsom was caught visiting the WH while President Biden was out of town, perhaps talking to the real man/woman in charge and measuring the drapes). These two governors look like the front runners for '24 but it is clearly premature to openly campaign before this year's mid term vote is in the rear view mirror.
The hypocrisy about these charges against DeSantis (and Gov Abbot) is because the Biden administration has openly (well not so openly) flown and bused migrants away from the souther border post article and another (ignore your lying eyes
At least sending migrants to high profile sanctuary cities (like DC, NYC, and Chicago) is at least getting the see no evil left leaning media to admit there is a problem and opening a conversation based somewhat on reality.

And all this has exactly what to do with the governor of Florida rounding up asylum seekers in Texas and flying them to Massachusetts? I'm not trying to belittle the challenges faced by a border state, but DeSantis is simply trying to "own the libs" and appeal to the Republican base as he prepares for his presidential run. Flying 40 people to Massachusetts is an expensive attention grab.
Exposing the glaring hypocrisy of the elitist left with their NIMBY BS and the blatant lies of the present administration deserves some credit. It starts with POTUS refusing to address the border crisis, but is enabled by his supporters and enablers (the press, for example).
POTUS has had hundreds of planeloads of illegal immigrants flown into rural areas all over the country. What were they told or has no one in the press bothered to ask?
