I had to go through the logs and delete numerous entries that appear to be auto-gen entries by bots or manual spammers. I am not however banning those IPs (YET) because they could be relaying from another IP. I'm pretty sure I didn't delete any legitimate members--if I have please let me know.

If anyone sees questionable entries from time to time please let me know. It would also help if members could take a few minutes to "personalize" their profiles. This is one of the things I look for when trying to evaulate the "validity" of the member.

Thanks!

I'm gonig to try to add some code to make it more difficult for these bots to register... If there is a slight disruption accessing the forum, that is why.

Thanks,
-E

OK!!!
I've now coded in one of these randomly generated code boxes to validate HUMAN registeration.

Spambots should have much more difficulty signing up from now on.

What is PMSK?

The code is randomly generated, alphanumerically whenever anyone tries to register.
