Anyone interested please check the 1pole 12 wafer switches at $3.75 each!!!! They also sell spare wafers so a 4pole can be built for nuts:

Tillman, as far as I know the 1053 and the 1057 are identical except for output stage and xformer layout. 1053´s had both the output line amp ( B104 ) and output xformer outside the module,a la 1055, while 1057´s had the output stage inside but the input xformer mounted in the console´s chassis. So,to be exact, the 1053 schematic would be TK´s drawing of the 1057 less 104 card and Lo1166 xformer

I'm definitly interested in the pre! The eq section would rock to have but the inductors would make it a much more expensive build.

Edit: okay, somehow the first 5 pages just showed up! Will checkout the schematic :)

Anybody interested in resurrecting this project?

You know me ... :) if we can source transistors that don't cost an arm and a leg, I would very much like to work on these too..

The problem with this project is obviously the lack of availability of Germanium transistors.  They are out there, just expensive ($5+each), and then you have to go through them to sort out the good ones.  Someone suggested the Russian ones on eBay but cross referencing them would really be a shot in the dark.

I have some circuits for the Neve 1053-1057 modules that used Germanium transistors, but like I said before, sourcing these would be a very time consuming task.  More time than I have.

Sourcing Germanium transistors was harder 10 and 15 year ago than it is nowadays.

With all the Guitar pedal DIY hype and the demand for Germanium Fuzz pedals, a lot of stores have Germanium transistors available nowadays and also provide matching and selection.
Also theres loads of information around on matching, selecting , good sources and recommended transistor types.

These 2 stores both offer Germanium transistors at a good price with matching if necessary:

What do you guys need?
I have many schematics from germanuim Neve modules.
Micpre card was B100 and line cards usually the B105 and later B110.

Thanks,
it would be nice to get the documents that were once posted on the link in the first post:

and also this:

Neve B100, B105 and B110 schematics would be great, as also any other schematics related to this project

thank you
