We're thinking of doing a tiered discount that you would apply at checkout which would essentially be a bundle option.
Not solidified yet, though.

Is the female Binder included?
Not included, but we will have them available for about $8 less than what they cost directly through Binder.

The mail insert connector is included though.

Are a pair of white gloves included? ;D

Can you tell us more about the measured frequency responses?  What set up are you using?  Is the capsule inside a head basket for testing?

thx

We use rubber gloves when handling the capsules, and suggest you do to!  No gloves included though-

We are planning on doing an in depth blog post on our website about the testing process soon.  The capsules are not tested inside any head basket as we want to provide as accurate a response as possible for the capsule itself, regardless of what mic it is used in.  Both sides of the capsule are subjected to a calibrated frequency response sweep which is captured into a database and compared against mix/max curves.  Units which fall outside the range are automatically B-stocked.  Matched pairs must have responses which differ on average no more than .2dB (+/- .1 dB) from 20Hz-20kHz.  540 frequencies between 20-20kHz are tested, spread out logarithmically.  Hope this answers some of your questions; more detail to come later!

How many microphone bodies will be available at launch time?

We are still finishing the QA process and have a few backorders to ship but I'd estimate around 150 A-stock mic bodies will be available.

I know some of you have been introduced to Justin (techix) previously, but he is one of our co-founders and resident genius (and hand model!).

So expect to hear more from him moving forward.
Go team venture!

So , obviously these will be gone in a flash .
Will it be another year before the next batch arrives from china ?
I dont want to get up at 5 am , I will represent my face with this icon .

Yes, I'll be in trouble as I cannot buy this before some 4 weeks from now and fear they are all gone then

Will you have the female binder connector for sale?

We have a limited supply of female Binder connectors (about 100).
These are $20. After we run out, you can purchase direct from Binder though their price is $8-9USD more than ours.

When we do the next run, my goal is to re-design the end connector to use an equally high-quality amphenol/tuchel connector which will be less expensive and more readily available to you guys.

It's very possible, maybe even likely, that we'll sell out fast.
I do think that they'll last at least 3 days though. We'll see.

Looking back at the timeframes, the first batch took ~9 months from our approval to shipping.
This time around it will be 6 months almost to the day.
[side note: we could have been shipping these much earlier, but we're focusing a lot of time on QA.]

Next time around we're planning to do 500 units, which should mean (a) no backorder (b) higher priority with our manufacturing partners.
Long story short...a 4 month lead time is what we're aiming for on batch#3.

One of the core philosophies that Justin, Eric, and myself (Team Equinox) have been talking about over the last few years is constant improvement in our products and processes. At this point we're devoted to it, so we're going to do our best to improve availability as well.
