Okay, so Justin (Equinox Engineer/IT Guru/Mojito Magician) handled the migration in less than two hours!
How the hell did he do that?

Anyway, we're back up and faster than ever!

Update: August 29 2011 – Schedule below is still valid.

Won't be long now! I hope Skylar will have a good idea on the final pricing come 16th.

Alright Equinoxians,
time for an update.

Justin & I will be road-tripping 1000 miles to hand-deliver the mic bodies to our finishing shop next week.
This shop does aerospace-grade finishing work for Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Cessna, and many others.
They also do medical-grade work for General Electric and Honeywell.
In any case, we're impressed with their work, so I feel we're in good hands.

I'm pretty excited about this round of mic bodies!

These units are a hybrid of American and Asian manufacturing; we have put a significant amount of work into improving the processes involved in manufacturing & finishing this new batch of EQU47s. The parts that our Asian partners make well are done in Asia. The parts & processes that require precision and detail are by our partners in America.

I'm confident you'll be impressed.

Still shooting for a September launch. Looks like an early October launch.
Price will be announced on the 16th as planned.

There were a few people from the first batch whose orders could not be fulfilled. We will fill their orders with 2nd batch units before our store re-opens to the general public. We will also be throwing in a big surprise for these customers as a way of showing our incredible thanks for their incredible patience.

This is great how can we verify that we are on the 2nd batch list?

There is no list since we will have mic bodies in stock and ready to ship this time around.
It will be first come=first served.

We'll send an announcement to our mailing list several days before the store opens, the day before the store opens, and when the store actually opens.

I think I'm on your mailing list.  At least, I know I put myself on it months ago, but never received any sort of confirmation or e-mail from you in the ensuing months that would verify it.

I have sent an email recently, so if you didn't get it, check your junk mail box.
It's also possible that you may not have been able to activate your subscription if our mails are going to your junk box.

If you give me your name or (ideally) email, I can look you up and do a test email.

Skylar Any word on shockmount? If no goupbuy can any one recommend a good source?

I have a good source, but we haven't negotiated a good price yet. I plan to have these in stock—I just don't know when that will be.

My advice for the time being is to look through MXL's product line for a mic with a similar diameter (60mm).
Then search eBay for a shockmount that works with that particular mic.
Remember, it has to be the type that clamps around the body—not the type that screws into the bottom of the mic.

I'm in the same situation as Crackerzot, and checked my mail junkbox and no emails from you.

I'll send you a pm with info Skylar.
Thanks.

I'm looking through our logs to see what the problem might be.
We did upgrade our mail platform a while back, and there may be some issues there.

It seems that direct mailing to individuals works without flaw, but there could be a hangup with group mailing.

After we take a look under the hood, I will probably send a test mail or two to the group to help diagnose issues, so bear with us.

Thanks everyone for your feedback on our mailing list—I definitely want to get the kinks worked out before we launch.
