Do you have any idea when your stepped Sontec PCBs will be ready?

Also, will there be any other differences between the stepped Sontec boards and your existing Sontec project, except for mounting the stepped switches direct to the PCB?

also the number of people being respectful to each other seems to be decreasing daily.  what a warm response from our first post here ! 

i've read and scoured over every thread about this and i have been many times to igor's store, but he is not selling any sontec kits... only a pcb.  i'd like to get in touch with igor to buy a kit.  (see our above post). 

i know igor builds sontec kits (from searching / reading things in this place).  do you see a kit on igor's website, rob gould?  if so, please point me to it so that i can buy one

anyways... back to the original request -- igor, can you please put a sontec 250 kit together for us?  thanks so very much, sir !

igor -- i know it sometimes takes awhile to put a kit together and maybe you are working on the mastering version (which would be cool too), but would love to get going on a project

I think Igor doesn´t sell complete kits.I ordered my pcbs from him about a year ago and as far as I can remember he stopped selling kits arround that time,maybe because it is way too much work for him to source parts from all over the world.

So buying the pcbs from him and sourcing parts on your own is the way to go (most of us had to do so ),there are good descriptions and boms in the thread.

thanks udo.  i had gotten some pm's from other members saying that he could build a igor/sontec kit... just takes some time.  on page 58 of this thread (june/july), people were writing to igor about buying other kits... but maybe he just stopped making the sontec kit?

Stepped Sontec: I have the proto PCB's here, fixed some mistakes, have to order new batch and test again.

Timetable: hopefully, month or so, but can't promise exactly.

Played with digital control option. It is possible and comes up cool. Interestingly, the cost of
fully digitally controlled EQ in this case is way less than use ELMA's. Talked with the guy who programming the microcontrollers for me;
he is bloody busy (bought about 40m^2 huge LED screen, and rent it for disco/concerts/weddings; imagine, I was busy too with this thing); mean, simple prog possible, 2x16 LCD+3xencoders+ some pushbutts, + 16 memo's store/recall.....BUT NO MIDI....disappointing.....well, have to weight all opts.

Digital control? Cheaper? Please!!!! I could live without the MIDI. Sounds like an amazing project.
