I'm selling a Studer 089MKII from 1977, sn540

-12 mono mic/line channels
-1 stereo line/aux return channel
-4 bus
-4 aux
-1 stereo master

-PPM meter, NTP 177-400 factory fitted
-4 small Vu for aux send
-Phase correllator meter
-Optional « booster » fitted
-Modified mono sum line out, as patchable DO at line level (2 channels)
-Comprehensive monitoring section with 2x40W amp
-Talkback with 6W amp
-Integrated PFL speaker

Fully restored this year, 100% OK, close to factory spec.
Some scratch around the frame but main modules and visible parts in excellent cosmetic shape for a 40 years old desk

Pick-up highly recommended, located in east France, so let say EU, but might be easier for Benelux and German buyer.

Hi

some update with non exhaustive list about what have been done.

-frame partially disassembled, deep cleaning/check, with some mechanical replacement (like screw and broken card support)
-all XLR (around 50) have been swapped/changed to match modern standard, XLR M as output and XLR F as input, still all original ITT Cannon connectors.
-full lythic recap with vishay/BHC (ex philips axial)
-all modules have been disassembled for cleaning, some parts changed when broken, like small red selector switches or knob caps
-all faders mechanical system completely disassembled !!! cleaned, changed when requested and lubricated.
-mono sum fader have been removed, look useless as it's not a third bus but just a post fader sum of master bus 1&2, allowing to rewire the dedicated line out card, for patchable line level direct out.
-full electronic check & repair

There still few things/mods that can be done, like individual P48 switches, or optional stereo line out card in place of 2x40w amp for monitoring, we can discuss about this.

It's a 100h job restoration, the desk is ready for the next 15 years !!!

It's mostly a discrete design, with inductor EQ and transfo for all In/Out

Just beautiful.

There is x89 desk showing up time to time, but I don't see a fully refurbished like this one in the past 5 years !!!
The extra price is consequence of real work and attention I put on this console, you will be safe for long time.
It still only 600per/ch with beautiful discrete pre, filter and inductor EQ. In extra you get summing/mixer benefit, with monitoring, talkback and metering  :
