I have a suplier in Paris (France) for the screws....
M3 X 8mm. Curved sloted head. They have zinc plated steel or stainless steel quality. Stainless steel would probably look shinier, thus closer to the original.
They quoted me 3,60 euros for zinc plated steel and 5,70 euros for stainless steel. Those are prices for 100 pieces, and boxes are 200 each. This means 14,40 or 22,80 for 400 pieces plus 19,6% VAT.

I you want only 350 instead of 400, I could have a use for the remaining 50...
If this sounds good to you, I can buy them and ship them to you easily. Since I will certainly buy one of your kits when it's done, you will just need to deduce the price of the screws from my invoice.

Axel, it is so weird, because I have the same options here. The prices are on par as well, I only beat you because our VAT is 14%. I just sent Skylar a PM with the details. I found some at RS as well.

I'd also hate to miss a chance and getting one, or a couple of these. Hopefully someone can maybe fire out a pm in advance to anyone who has expressed an interest. Anyways, I can't wait to see the proto... It's gonna be great.

Okay, let me put together a feeler before this gets too out of control in this thread.


I'll try to produce a web form so that you can enter your forum name and email.

Then, a few days before these go on the market, you'll get an email reminder.

This sounds like a good way to handle the feeler and give those interested a chance to grab one before they sell out.
But give me a couple days to set this up.
