I still go on it, and there is great info. you won't find elsewhere, but it's unfortunately not up to date.

Not ignoring the fact that that whole world of mics are a moving target.

My point was that RecordingHacks came before MicParts and Roswell. Likely fell behind because it wasn't making money anymore (not as much as the newer businesses), so...

Here I think you are right.
Recordinghacks was a commendable project and I also believe that this entire knowledge base contributed to the subsequent success of the MP and Roswell business.

Not quite sure i completely agree with "we must worship the crumbs we're left with", in this context

It is just a purely personal choice to say thank you when I receive something with minimal effort.
