It's been over four-weeks now from the time the expected in three-weeks shipment was sent. 

What's the status, please? 

Do you have the mic bodies?  Have you begun to ship them?  Or is there some new delay, now?

I know some international packages that I have sent/received have sat at customs for a couple weeks or more. I think its much harder to predict the arrival time of international packages than domestic ones.

Hey guys,

The shipment is still on the water, as I haven't heard from the freight forwarder yet.

I have been working with US Customs on the shipment; they contacted me to verify our EIN issued by the IRS.
As we're a first-time importer, they didn't yet have our records. At least we're on Customs' radar now (actually, I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing!).

Anyway so far, so good.
I've heard some nightmare stories about things getting held up in Customs (51X racks, for instance), but with all the preparatory paperwork we've done, I'm hoping for a smooth ride.

When the shipment hits US shores, I will post here.

Or there's been a delay that they haven't told you about... or... something. 

Have they confirmed a date that they shipped?  I'm guessing they're fudging you somewhere, based on the timing of your posts here....  Do you have proof they have actually shipped, at all?  Etc...

Are you using their forwarder? Or do you have your own?

It take 2 1/2 to 3 weeks to land in port and then another week max for Disembarkment.

Your forwarder should know exactly what is going on with your  shipment.

Unless something happens, misplace the shipment, etc. I know, I had an amp from the UK sitting in customs for 2 months. During that time, no one could find it.

Customs is a different and separate matter.  Skylar said he's already coordinating with customs.  Something like this usually sails through customs in the US.

I hope this works out....

Let me clarify.

Customs said they had everything under control until 2 months rolled by. Then they told me they couldn't find it. Go figure. So much for sailing...

Don't get me wrong, I hope it's quick and painless.

My point is with these kinds of things: Never assume anything.

Sorry guys,
I'm in Denver for the next couple of days with limited net access.
My macbook dies in 12 minutes, so I'll make this quick.

I got an email from the factory with the freight forwarder's (TNT express) tracking number.
Judging from that, it looks like the shipment was picked up yesterday and is on its way to Stillwater, OK.

I could be wrong...there's very limited info on the tracking site, but that's what it looks like.
I will do some further investigation once I'm back home.
Looks like we're getting close though.
