TNT Express is air service?

So they just sent them?

If they did send via TNT, they should be here in a week?

Yeah, the weird thing is I have a bill of lading for the sea freight, so I know the mic bodies have been shipped via sea.

And I also have the TNT tracking number, so something is coming via air also.

Now, I assume that TNT is freight forwarding from LA to OK.

I've asked the factory for clarification, but they're gone for CNY until mid-feb.

Not a big deal...I know I have a shipment on its way to me very soon. In fact, the TNT shipment should be here in the next few days.

Skylar; It's been 6 months since I sent the payment. I would really like to get the bodies soon.

we will get a very well designed and good manufactured product for a very low price... but the trade off is that we
all together put our money in before it is even produced. I think thats the deal, we just have to wait.

i'm amazed that there are some that didn't understand this going in. shit takes time.

I'd rather pay 6 months upfront than having to pay interest for a loan.
The whole thing started more than 2 years ago. I'm sure we could wait a few more weeks?
I don't think there's any way to speed up the shipping process.

By the way, the mic body shipment is in LA as we speak...going through customs.
It will be forwarded to me after it's released.

The TNT "shipment" which I thought was the full mic body order was just an envelope with the shipping and arrival documentation.
I'll let you know when the "big" package arrives at my office...I'll post un-boxing photos and such.

In LA huh.... must be in Long Beach.  I'm on my way!! ;D

just in time !!! ;D
my beezneez stuff is on the way!
great - cant wait to plug that mic in!

Hey, how is one to assemble this body with the microphone amp plus capsule attached? You cant slide it in like you would on other mics because of the reduction in inner diameter in the body tube. I want to have the whole thing assembled with capsule when i assemble and disassemble for easy servicing...now it seems a like a big pita if im not missing something here? Do I really need to unscrew the binder connector and the whole bottom piece, then pray that i can get it tight back on with the aluminum nut that keeps it secure? Theres like 5mm of clearance, so im not sure how to do this.

I really dont want to have to desolder the capsule anytime i need to get in to the mic. And I would certainly feel better not having to reduce the diameter of the top plate.

Please advice, im confused here  ;D

edit: looking at skylars pics at ordering page, it seems that something is wierd, because it clearly shows a complete mic amp with capsule mounted with bottom plate, capsule, and internal rails. I cant get my mic inside the body tube when assembled the same way... Im one of the early beta testers, so is there something wrong with my body tube or top plate?

Cheers,
J

Check your PM box.

The shipment was freight released today, now it just has to be released by customs.
Our broker should get all that sorted out tomorrow so that it can be picked up by FedEx or UPS.

Everything's going smoothly so far.
