The knob referred to as "Fairchild" is a regular General Radio knob, KNP-1 or something, can't remember exact name but I have a couple somewhere (in gray color), not with me at the moment... I, for instance, wanted to see knobs like that (GR/Fairchild) in black.
But don't mind me, I would only buy a dozen at most...
Now, could it be a coincidence that our British chaps are all voting for the TG style in grey and red colour?

Naturally, would be happy to have either ones...

Definitely in for TG style knobs and interested in all colors like I mentioned earlier... Will probably order more than just five of each, though.

I'm definitely good for several TG knobs in each color. Besides being perfect for the TG1, they will also look great on a lot of other projects as well. I know I'd love to use them on my REDD47 project. Frank, are you still expecting the black TG prototype in about 2 weeks?

So... What's the status of this project? I haven't logged on in a while and this was one of the developing threads (relared to the TG) that had me very intrigued before I took a break. I'd love some of these for my TG build.

I have a few of his Neve machined knobs and they feel very nice. I guess it's a kind of wunder audio - vintech look and feel. But it's no plastic, for better or for worse.

The Fairchild was sort of a test run to gain some experience with tooling and QA .
A lot was learned to say the least.

Now, this time ,  EMI all the way ......

can you say Black , Gray and Red ?  PA , Elma & Sifam quality
