Today I have received the connectors from Volker. He already packed Jeff's seperately. My aim is to pack the metalwork and ship the lot by Friday. Hopefully I will send Volker's at the same time too.

I am sorry for this but we have a little problem.

I do the rack-ears in house and send them out for powder coating to the metal fabricator. The guy who obviously did the painting stupidly decided to hook the brackets through the mounting slots in the front as opposed to the small screw holes at the back. As a result the paintwork on the edge of the mounting slots where the hooks rested is defective. The image is attached. Normally a quick touch-up will solve it, or it will be unseen under the mounting screw. But if you do not think this is acceptable then I will send them back for re-coating. This will delay the delivery to Volker and Jeff by a week or ten days.

Sahib, this is totally fine.  Most DIYers will consider this a non-issue.

Once it's in the rack, it will not be visible.

gentlemen, we want to start our internal shipping as soon as possible.
I just mailed an excel file to my partners, containing all the orders.

they will adjust it, since - like me - they had some PM or private mail orders.
however we are getting close to know how many of what each of us needs, and will do our internal shipping soon.

in my counting there are still a few kits left, now it is time for your last order if you want to receive anything in the near feature
would be a pain and too expensive to ship any PCBs or XLRs etc in single quantities to Jeff or Cemal (and vice versa)
expect 3 shipments (and costs) if you order beyond our internal shipping

Finally, this project is a little too much expensive for me right now : 650€ for DIY case and PSU when the API 10 slots version is 730€ !!! Am I missing something ? I know it's a very professional built quality, it has 12 slots and not 10, but the difference is small, isn't it ?

Anyway, you, Jeff and Sahib make an incredible work, and I hope that one day I could finally built one of these racks. Will you do another run in few months, or a year ?
