I am in Istanbul at the moment. My sister and I were walking past a garage and came across this. Early '70s Murat 124 which is essentially Fiat 124. The guy in the background on the left, talking to my sister, is the owner. He apparently bought it for pennies to restore.

I was kicking around today and this time I came across an actual Fiat 124. Nice white trimmed tyres but the left rear was flat.

My Aunt Mildred joined TI in March 1949. She was employee #161. Her husband Thomas was employee #348.

I found this 1954 Texas Instruments Annual Report in my Grandmother's trunk. I recall her being a stockholder for a brief period of time.

The cover is a work of art.

Very cool. Look how tiny the Germanium boules are. Current production spins monocrystalline silicon boules 300mm across by 2m+ long.
