Thanks fellas!
I should add a couple of notes on what you see:
-the finish is just straight off of the mill, so you'll notice some scuffs & scratches—the production units obviously won't look like that, as they'll be fully finished.
-I threw some mesh into place just to give a more clear picture of the parts--the mesh pictured is not really cut to the proper dimensions (it's a little too tall) nor is it even secured to the headbasket parts.
-there are a few mistakes that the shop made on some of the parts—no fillets on the brass headbasket rings; headbasket holes are on 120° spacings instead of 90°; connector key-way on end cap is a little rough; capsule mount insulator's holes are centered on part where they should be offset by 4mm.
I've also discovered two design flaws that will be fixed:
1. diameter on countersunk holes on end cap should be increased by 0.5mm
2. unthreaded portion of end cap connector barrel should be reduced in diameter by 0.25–0.5mm
So, the shop is now working with me to correct the mistakes and get a new prototype made to fix the errors.
The tolerances on these parts are excellent; everything fits together really well and feels very solid.
