Will do!
I really want to hear these, but for some reason I don't seem to be able to listen to them? Is that just me?Here's some recordings. I always play the same chords with my Martin on a stand so the distance between the microphone and the guitar is the exact same in all clips. I do my best to play with the same intensity.
C12 T14: C12 circuit with fixed bias T14 transformer
C12 V2545: C12 circuit with fixed bias V2545 transformer
C24 mono V2545: C24 circuit with self bias (2K7 and 33uF) V2545 transformer
SM204: SM204 circuit with self bias (1K8 and 25nF) V2545 transformer
Thanks! I like the samples, they all sound good but the difference is obvious.
I agree, makes it harder to pick one. As expected the SM402 is a bit bass shy. It also has a lower output and is therefore noisier. T14 sounds great and detailed but I really enjoy the sound of V2545 so I use that and try to find out if I prefer the C12 or C24 circuit. Thanks! I like the samples, they all sound good but the difference is obvious.
