the next batch is in work, but shipping will be earliest end of april.
delivery times for the connectors are horrible (card edge & Neutriks).

we will do an order form and an email address for it.
however, it is hard to finalize a price in 3 different currencies up front.

we receive payments in $ / € / £
we have parts paid in $ / € / £
it is hard to calculate, we can't even say it costs €XXX and convert it to $ or £
it changes daily.

this said I think releasing a final price for the 2nd run / taking orders shouldn't be more than two weeks before we can ship.

thanks for infos volker
i'm in euro currency zone @ now,
please the kit include also parts for psu?

Ready to go, with four 312s plugged in PS board stuffed....
Man I am just itching to turn mine on.... no power transformer.  :'(

I have looked but cannot find anything anywhere. Even if I used 2 torriods no one has anything suitable.
Hey Volker can you just put down the total price for a transformer + shipped to the USA so we can all gauge if it is worth the extra shipping?
I really don't want to wait 6 weeks to fire this badboy up.

I wonder should I have posted this in the support thread... maybe eh?

Thanks !

Chuck

Chuck,

I can put a PSU transformer to the post office on saturday,
but with their (fucking) service we never know when it will arrive.
(well, you know from the PM PSU Xformer).

However, the Xformer is EUR 41,70.
shipping more than 2kg to the US is expensive:
EUR 35,- standard
they have a premium option which as far as I remember would double the price with no advantage.

this month I'm trying to get a DHL business customer.
don't know if this lowers the price ???

in the meantime, not needing the 24V (I guess),
you can use a standard dual 16V transformer (note: not 32V CT, individual windings)
if Phantom power is needed add a small 48V transformer.

hey, when do I receive your new Album :)

Another option if the 20v isn't needed as I researched for a first time possible DIY friend Brent Averills PSU is $250 list with 48v! He is scared of a PSU!

An engineer friend brought his 501X kit over to my place on Friday. I am VERY impressed with the build quality. The PCB work is excellent and I love the 24V option.

Consider me sold, subscribed, and anxiously waiting on the next round!

I'm going with 3x avel linburgs.  They have 100VA options with 15 and 22V secondaries (separate trannys).  For the phantom I'm using a dual secondary 22v wired in series.  This should provide plenty of voltage.  Total cost of 3 was $91, shipped.  Only downside us the additional wiring.

I'm trying to follow all this - I unfortunently missed out on round one because i was in hospital but I am totally in for round now!!. Can some let me know when, where you need the money
I'm looking for a complete kit.

I can be emailed on [email protected]

Cheers

Matt

we are working on round too.
we will let you know when we are ready.
we don't take any money before we are ready (stupid we are ;D)
