Mine Arrived on Friday ,
I had it put together in about 2 hours. I stripped one screw. But other then that is is looking nice.
It was a little tight getting the sides together. There is a certain order that makes screwing these together easier I think.

Overall pretty kickass design.

Just putting together a list for PSU from Mouser now.

Thanks Guys

Have fun with it!

Now waiting for those card-edge boards. Have not started on the rack yet.
Jeff will have some in his hands soon.
(package arrived at USPS at least)
reordered some of those PCBs today
Awesome I'll be needing a few!
Will he have any better excuses I can order with them?
cheers

Only the new VP312 boards.  8)  I just got the confirmation they are due this Friday.

Hi
although I am familiar with the lunchbox and the value it offers with interchanging modules, I am not that familiar with all of the jumpering possibilities and the best way to prepare the pcb prior to installing it in the enclosure.
can someone possibly explain the different ways to prepare the board and perhaps how to prepare it for the most flexibility down the road?

Thank you
Best Regards
James

Arrived! Wow, what great work. And is the incredible packing job REALLY included int he 325 USD I paid. Seriously, who packed this thing up?

I must take full credit for the pack job. The perfect size box is 20"X8"X6". I could not find those in the States without having them made. You need to order 1000pc to get a decent price. So, I just went with a standard and stock size of 20"X8"X8". I could have cut the boxes sown but ef that if you get my drift! It was quicker and easier to just put some more packing in there.

I expect everyone to save the anti-static bubble and use it next time you sell/ship some gear.  ;D

Best, Jeff

thanks for that Jeff. My wife constantly remarks about the magnitude of my awesome cardboard collection, another choice piece.

yes, it sounds great. this is one reason why it took a few more months in time.
we did loads of listening tests (different cases, powder coatings, colors etc).
the best result brought us to blue cardedge connectors on a yellow PCB in a black rack :D :D :D

Hi Greg,

You did not miss anything. I tried to respond but your pm box was full. I got side tracked and never got around to an email.  ???

Anyhow, I am waiting on the last of the XLR's which Volker shipped to me a few weeks ago. As soon as I get those, I will get cracking on the 2nd half of the list which includes you.  ;) I literally expect those anyday now.

Thanks for being so patient.

Best, Jeff
